Monday 5th Jan - Sat 10th Jan

I am falling off the interweb until next Saturday. I will post comments of workouts done in that time to this post.

Monday Deadlift
3x5x85kgs

Had a crack at 90kgs but it didn't feel right. Would have liked to have some eyes on my form as it was.

Tuesday
Cleans 1x7x50kgs

Was pretty hard, the most I've cleaned so far

Wednesday
Rest

As RX'd, pretty happy with my performance :)

Thursday
I did an Annie today, 9.20
Double unders and sit ups 50,40,30,20,10

Double unders have improved heaps!!
First set I got 45, then one complete set of 40, 30's were messy, 20's and 10's all in one hit. Sit ups were the longest part

Friday
I'll have another crack at EVA, this time I'll only run 800m instead of the 1km, swings will be 21kgs and chins with rings

EVA beat me again!! ARGH!!!

Finished the run on the 4th round and just felt wreaked. I thinking I'll have to beat her in a group session. 37.22 for 3 rounds and the run of the 4th

Hey Scott, you are training like a madman on Holidays - great effort bro - I am about 5kg heavier than when I left due to eating chocolate and other non zone crap. I haven't trained for the last 5 days but did do some introductory kite boarding lessons, tennis and long walks on the beach. Knee is feeling better so I may hit deadlifts tonight. If I can avoid the chocolate it should be ok - that stuff saps my will to train.

Not really that mad...man :), just trying to keep busy. Sometimes it feels like I'm just going through the motions of training. Although I'm sure I'm improving, I'm not recording anything...to lazy for that :D Hard to stay motivated on your own with this type of training, probably why Eva beat me again, I'm sure it was all mental. I can do a Murhpy with vest on my own, I'm sure I can manage an Eva, just gotta dig a bit deeper

Tomorrow will be front squats 5x5 :)

Should hear back from the RAAF this Tuesday arvo. If I don't make the cut I'm going to head down to Brissy and pick up some work as a PT for awhile...PLUS checkout Crossfit Brisbane :D

Sounds like you guys are having a great holiday! Good to hear the knee is feeling better :)

We did a 21-15-9 Lsit Pull Ups, K2E, decline push ups
14:49 for me and 21 mins for reek (standard Pull ups and Push Ups.

Whats a K2E?

5-6km run this morning, 24.40, 800m of it was on soft sand and sand dunes due to the king tide trying to catch me :)

Tomorrow we are going to a group session here in Perth hopefully Tuesday morn aswell. Probably rest some more today.

Short term...I'm still on holidays!! :D

Got to have another chat to a recruiter, see if I can sweet talk them and get some OJT and RPL to speed things up. I'll let you know how it goes.

Failing that, PT in Brisbane is still attractive while I wait.

Given training a miss for the past couple of days, been helping the old man clean the carpets of a school, moving chairs and desks etc. Back into it tomorrow with a modified WOD. Maybe 40kgs for the power cleans and dips :)

Where are you guys at now?? Still on holidays?

Just got back to the ville this arvo - dropped into the box and did a session with Fi.

It is a good vibe in there.
