I have been reading your stuff for a while (no I'm not a stalker), I just find your insights and fitness knowledge very interesting and inspiring. I particularly like what you’ve said here about “putting some mongrel” into training. I was thinking along these lines just a couple of days ago. In my rugby playing days I was never the most skilful player, but was always did pretty well because I played with “mongrel” and intensity, so I figure if I take the same mind set towards my training (think of it as a competitive sport) the results will come much faster.

I also think that this attitude crosses over into most of everything that we pursue in life, if we put some mongrel into chasing whatever it is we are after the results will come more readily.MickBhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04015896094277116357noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6602040768750373426.post-85540853489559777512009-08-02T15:36:27.927+10:002009-08-02T15:36:27.927+10:00lol, I probably still don't go after my traini...lol, I probably still don't go after my training to the same level this bloke does...

That needs to changeScotty.Ahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13811022907596926020noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6602040768750373426.post-47077135612501847072009-08-02T05:43:24.530+10:002009-08-02T05:43:24.530+10:00Agreed, but you have to agreed that neither you or...Agreed, but you have to agreed that neither you or I really 'went after our training' the same way this bloke obviously did pre Crossfit.

I think that there is something in that - we need to understand that best strength and conditioning program or not Bloody Hard Work is one of the most relevant stepping stones to fitness sucess.Brett_M/31/181cm/85kghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03452432872127527987noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6602040768750373426.post-91800870642359123902009-08-01T18:33:38.268+10:002009-08-01T18:33:38.268+10:00I know those guns
